Sarah Palin has taken to social media to defend her daughter’s honor after she allegedly put the smack down on a party hostess. ‘Page Six’ of the New York Post shared Palin’s claim that the liberal media attacks her family has endured were the root cause for her daughter’s fury (and potentially criminal behavior that day).
In an article posted on Sept. 22, 2014, the Post reported a brawl broke out at a birthday bash thrown for none other than Palin’s husband Todd Palin. Allegedly, when the host of the party made some sort of remark about Bristol Palin’s sister Willow, the former “Dancing With The Stars” competitor started throwing punches rather than verbal jabs back.
But what could the host possibly have said that would make the young Palin daughter seeing red not related to her family’s political past? Apparently, not much. There were harsh words, someone allegedly stood up to Willow, and big sister jumped in with mom cheering and egging her on in the back.
Palin, a former presidential VP hopeful, is known as a straight-talking, gun-toting, former beauty queen from Alaska. The former governor of the wilderness state apparently went wild with pride when her family members were willing to come to fisticuffs in defense of her daughter. Even the alcohol that was allegedly consumed by the family was not of import to the conservative candidate. But somehow, the Republican managed to point fingers at all media (while exempting media outlets like Fox News) along the way.
E! Online news picked up the celebrity scandal story and did some deeper digging of there own. Click the following link to read more about the incident and what the entertainment news source had to say about the Friday night bar fight post admissions the proud mom posted by the time her words had time to settle into the viral news groove by early Monday: Sarah Palin and family involved in drunken bar fight.
Their source confirmed, “Palin’s words of love come just over a week after Bristol reportedly punched a man several times during a drunken brawl. Anchorage Police Department’s communications director Jennifer Castro confirmed to E! News that a fight took place, but didn’t specify who exactly was involved.”
Palin, who announced in 2014 that she will be hosting her own online news channel, is a published author and Tea Party advocate. Bristol Palin, her daughter, is a former reality television star. Palin’s primary defense of Bristol was posted on her official Facebook fan page by the political figure with a request for prayers on Sept. 19.
What do you think, readers? Was Sarah Palin right to defend her daughter’s honor on Facebook or should she have stepped up as a parent and handled the issue in a more civilized, community minded, and mature way? Why or why not?
