The police report has been released detailing the Palin Family brawl at a party in Anchorage, Alaska in which “a strong smell of alcohol” was detected on a few of the Palin family members. According to Mashable on Oct. 10, the police reports are from combined accounts of this brawl coming from the Palin family, the host of the party and 15 other witnesses.
It sounds as if two fights broke out before police arrived to find Track Palin shirtless with blood around his mouth and reeking of alcohol. The accounts collected from the many eye witnesses about this fight which is now known as “Thrilla in Wasilla,” seem to indicate it was Bristol Palin who first instigated the brawl.
Bristol and another guest had some harsh words in which the party’s host Korey Klingenmeyer attempted to break-up. Then a fight broke out with Track and Klingenmeyer after Track said his friend was punched from behind, reports News Max today.
According to Mashable the events get a bit hazy after this with witnesses saying Bristol hauled off and started punching Klingenmeyer, who grabbed her wrist to make her stop and she fell to the ground. Bristol told police that Klingenmeyer insulted her and dragged her across the lawn.
Other witnesses said that another fight broke out between Todd Palin and his son Track. Then yet another fight between Todd and his daughter Willow reportedly broke out. This is about the time the Anchorage Police arrived around midnight, reports CNN News.
Police were responding to a report that a fight broke out in the street with about 20 people involved. Police walked onto the property just as Todd was walking up to the host of the party asking him if he called his daughter a b*tch? The police report said that Willow Palin then walked up and flipped off Klingenmeyer.
The police report indicates that police found the members of the Palin family to be “heavily intoxicated,” according to Mashable.
Klingenmeyer was also reported as “moderately intoxicated” by the Anchorage Police in the report, according to ABC News today. They also report that the police interviewed the Palin family, but there was no interview with former vice president hopeful Sarah Palin that night.
Police were able to calm the group and the Palins collected themselves as a family and hopped into their stretch-Hummer-limo and went home. No arrests were made in this incident, they were all calmed down and went on their merry way. The family doesn’t sound like a family you would want to mess with!
Sarah Palin took to Facebook and though she did not mention the incident by name she did defend her daughter Bristol by saying how her kids coming to the “defense of her family makes her heart soar.”
