It’s Back! Shark Week, the Discovery Channel’s famed television event will be back from August 10 – 17th and Sea Life Aquarium Grapevine will be featuring their 15 species of sharks.
Along with the array of Sea Life Aquarium activities, Shark Week is a way to get kids interested in learning about marine life. As a part of raising awareness about shark conservation, visitors can take a shark scavenger hunt and win sea life annual passes when they identify the correct species. Kids can also touch real shark eggs and teeth in an interactive touch pool area. Watch shark themed videos all week in the cinema.
Shark feedings will be in the ocean tank at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 12; Thursday, August 14 and Saturday, August 16. Watch aquarists up close feed the sharks and see two new baby epaulette sharks with the purchase of a behind the scenes tour ticket.

- Shark-themed coloring activities.
- Immerse yourself in the life of a shark while playing games on giant interactive touch screens in Shark Mission, and discover compelling facts about these majestic predators of the deep.
On Saturday, August 10 from 11 am to 1 pm; Saturday, August 16 from 10 am to 2 pm and Sunday, August 17 from 11 am to 1 pm guests can take a photo with “Sharky” the Sea Life mascot.

Annual Pass Holders are invited to take a FREE behind the scenes tour Tuesday, August 12, Thursday, August 14 and Saturday, August 16. (Space is limited to 12 guests per hour. Tours run every half hour.)
