A Slender Man stabbing is one bizarre and horrific story that is making news this afternoon involving two girls who attacked their friend — stabbing her 19 times with a knife — in order to “please” Slender Man. Both girls from Wisconsin say that they have become enamored with the mythical and frightening being, and planned their attack for several months before trying to execute it in order to become the spirit’s “proxies.” NewsMax reveals this Tuesday, June 3, 2014, in their special report that both 12-year-old’s are being charged as adults in this attempted homicide case, and that the nation is still reeling from the shock and sheer dread of it.
While most pre-teen girls are able to distinguish between make-believe and reality, a pair of 12-year-old girls from the state of Wisconsin has been recently charged in the near-fatal stabbing of a friend, another young girl. The reason for this brutal crime and attempted murder, says the source? Both young females apparently are in the clutches of the Slender Man, an eerie mythical creature from online sites, and were subsequently induced to participate in a frightening Slender Man stabbing to “please” him.
Police officials have confirmed this week that the pre-teen girls are being charged in a court of law as adults for the crime, both accused of first-degree attempted homicide. If they are found guilty of the heinous charge, they each may face up to 60 years behind bars. A court judge has set the bail for both girls at $500,000 apiece, and the sums must be made in cash. The official criminal filing against the 12-year-olds cites them as working together to plan the death of a friend by stabbing her after a slumber party in the name and spirit of the Slender Man over the weekend.
A girl revealed to a local police official in an interview that she and her companion had been in contact with the mythical figure (often related to a demon and brought to life via such sites as Creepy Pasta), and intended to become singular proxies of his. The Slender Man stabbing resulted from them becoming obsessed by the horrors and tales told about his supernatural powers and dark abilities, added the report.
Following the death of their friend, reveals the Daily Mail in their news piece, both 12-year-old girls were then planning to run away together and hide from the crime within the demon spirit’s secret mansion in the forest. Fortunately for the victim, a young girl around the same age as the attackers, she lived through the violent assault, even though she was confirmed by medical teams to have suffered no less than 19 stab wounds.
“I recognize they’re young ages but it’s still unbelievable,” Court Commissioner Thomas Pieper said during one of the girls’ initial court appearances Monday.
The official court has not seen fit to release the names of the victim in this Slender Man stabbing scare. It is known that the victim is now in stable condition as of Tuesday morning, though one of the knife cuts missed a primary artery of her heart by just a couple millimeters, relayed a file on the attempted murder citation.
Both girls have since appeared in a courtroom, decked in jail jumpsuits and handcuffed. One of the accused girl’s families could be seen crying throughout the court proceedings, while another family was stoic and silent.
One of the alleged attackers said that she had made a deal with the Slender Man in her testimony to please him, which included the pair of 12-year-olds beginning to plan the death of their friend as early as December 2013. She said the demon figure would allow them to live with him in his distant mansion if they succeeded in stabbing and killing their girlfriend. The other assailant added she dreams about the Slender Man frequently, and he can read her mind and any bad thoughts she has. The sad and shocking trial continues this week.
