“Sons of Anarchy” has 10 episodes left to go in the final season and Jax has already turned everyone upside down pegging one gang against another. Jax’s latest plan of attack seems to be get chummy with the enemy and strike when least expected.
As Movie Pilot suggests in an article on Sept. 26, there’s still no real hint of where this is all going and what the ending of this epic show will look like. It is time for “Sons of Anarchy” to concentrate on Juice, as he really doesn’t appear to add much of anything to the show these days except the fact that he holds onto Gemma’s secret.
The show has already missed a few possible plot lines for Juice that would have left the fans with a jaw-dropping shocker. Instead of letting Unser go he could have killed him, but that’s not the way they went with the show, suggests Movie Plot. Unser has been sick and dying for quite some time on the “Sons,” but he is Gemma’s conscious and besides he’s got a shoe-in now with the new chief, which could prove valuable down the line.
IB Times suggests that Jax is getting closer to Juice. When he said to Gemma that he knows Juice is around, the look on her face was masking sheer horror. It could be Gemma knows Juice is going to did by Jax’s hand anyway and she can’t take the chance he’ll spill the beans, so she may end up being his executioner.
Either way, Juice has lived out his usefulness unless they put him somewhere in the story line where he can taunt Gemma, but this hiding of Juice may have lost some of its appeal for the viewers.
Glimpses of Juice this season isn’t really doing much from the story line and other than Gemma having a few moments of guilt, or maybe it’s just worry over getting caught, she’s not revisited her horrendous deed of ousting Tara with too much fanfare. The SAMCRO boys are lacking in intellect, except for Jax. Bobby and Chubs are better than the rest, but it is Jax who has the brains and the same type of critical thinking that Clay once ruled with.
Clay used his brains for evil and he really never had anyone but his own self in mind when doing many of the things he did. Jax started out for the good, working toward getting SAMCRO out of the guns, but that’s a goal long forgotten. He is not wrapped too tight right now due to Tara’s death and his leadership is questionable.
It is all about revenge for him and really not what the club needs, but with the IQ lacking in many of the members, they won’t see this. The crew will just follow Jax even if he takes them straight into hell. All his double crossing of the outside gangs is bound to catch up to him and his club. But in Jax’s state of mind, he’s not thinking that far ahead.
When this final season started, Tara had only been dead two weeks and with Jax in prison, he really didn’t have any time to mourn. This is all still pretty raw for the guy, who just might not be thinking too straight. So far the season consists of Jax setting up people he once considered friends or friendly associates to take the fall for his killing.
