In honor of World Audio Drama Day today, Sound Stages Radio is hosting a special Audio Drama Marathon October 30th to November 2.
A special broadcast performance of “We Bring You Now to Grovers Mill” at 7 p.m. (CST) is an original documentary about the 1938 Orson Welles’ War of the Worlds broadcast that created panic and pandemonioum all across the United States. It will be followed by a “War of the Welles” parody of the original Welles’ broadcast, and the final portion of the program will be a broadcast of the original “War of the Worlds” with Orson Welles from 1938. Programs emanate from the U.S., Canada, and the UK.
A 13-hour marathon of chills and thrills began broadcasting at 8 a.m. today, and rebroadcasts will continue until November 2:
