Fans will be treated to another new episode of ABC’s “The Bachelorette 2014” on Monday night, and there will be conflict and tears for Andi Dorfman. There have been quite a few “The Bachelorette” spoilers out already for this one, but on Monday Reality Steve filled in the details regarding one big exit. What leads to Eric Hill’s departure in episode 10×04?
As viewers know, Eric Hill died in a paragliding accident a few weeks after he finished filming the show. Reality Steve had previously indicated that Hill left in this episode, and he had shared that it wasn’t a traditional departure. Until now, Steve hadn’t detailed the exact reasons for Eric leaving, as he wanted to see how the show was going to edit it. Now that “The Bachelorette” spoiler preview for the June 2 episode has laid the groundwork, Steve is filling in the gaps.
According to Reality Steve’s “The Bachelorette” spoilers, Eric Hill gets into an argument with Andi Dorfman during the cocktail party. It seems that he thought she was being fake and he accused her of not really being there to find love. Of course Andi doesn’t like this at all, so she starts crying and gets quite angry. As the preview showed, Dorfman lets loose a bit with the other guys as she reacts to Eric’s accusations.
Eric ends up leaving before the rose ceremony, and it is said that Andi cancels the rest of the cocktail party. As for other “The Bachelorette” spoilers, producer Robert Mills teases that viewers should “Be ready to laugh but also be ready to cry during the first date.” That first date of the night would seemingly be with Dylan Petitt, though Marcus Grodd gets a one-on-one in this episode as well.
One other bachelor will be sent home at the end of the episode, and that’s said to be Tasos. As Reality Steve mentions, this conflict with Eric Hill surely would have been a topic readdressed at the “Men Tell All” special, but now things will be left in a complicated place. Naturally the guys weren’t very happy with what he did, as it disrupted their evening as well.
However, Andi has said that she was devastated by the news of Eric’s death, and it seems the other bachelors and the crew were too. As Reality Steve says, Eric Hill’s life most certainly won’t be defined by one blow-up with Andi Dorfman. He had an interesting and full life outside of the show, and luckily fans have had the opportunity to get a glimpse of that.
Despite the drama ahead with Eric Hill, Andi Dorfman has some great dates and makes some new connections with some of the guys. Fans are anxious to see who takes on the role of frontrunner, and there seem to be several great possibilities already. Tune in to ABC’s “The Bachelorette 2014” with Andi Dorfman on Monday, June 2 to see Eric Hill’s exit and the other dates.
