The world needs more people like Stacey Honeyman. Stacey has a heart of gold and loves to see other people enjoy life. This is why Stacey volunteers her time to help with the Down Syndrome children wherever she is. Stacey has spent months and has come through again with another way to put smiles on the faces of these wonderful people. Stacey Honeyman had another awesome Halloween party for the Down Syndrome children this year and all were welcome.
This year’s Halloween party was once again held at the Elks Lodge in Broomfield Colorado and the theme was “Dead Rock Stars”. Michael Jackson was in the house, Jerry Garcia made an appearance, Elvis was there even though it has been said that he never died. This was bigger and better than any of the past Halloween parties that Stacey has put together. When Stacey puts her mind to supporting the amazing people she does not go half way. This year Stacey brought in Jake Garcia and his company Gruv One Entertainment. With Jake playing the dance tunes and Stacey making sure everyone was participating – which was not hard to do – this party was bigger and better than the past Halloween parties. Stacey and Gruv One Entertainment made sure the people danced. Stacey and Gruv One Entertainment made sure the people had fun. If you were not participating on the dance floor, you had better have a good excuse. But there was not a worry there as the dance floor was full and the music was bumping.
Stacey had some big help though. The love and support of making sure the Halloween party was a success came in part from people like Cassidy DiTirro who made sure that lunch was served to everyone who attended the party along with her friend Ava who came as Slash. Michelle DiTirro helping in the kitchen. Stacey’s son Derrick helped out in the kitchen serving. Stacey’s daughter Helen helped keep the dance floor hopping. And of course you cannot have food without having a master chef. Stacey’s husband Dave is a world class cook. This man will make sure every party has enough food and that no one goes hungry. This year Dave cooked his famous chili.
The list of helpers does not stop with these people though. Stacey Honeyman had lots of volunteers to pitch in where ever they were needed. And when you experience firsthand the love that Stacey shows the Down Syndrome community, you would jump in and be part of her army to make sure that every event is perfect. With this year’s Halloween party being a success, Stacey will definitely have her work cut out for her for next year’s party. But Stacey can do it. She always does and has some amazing troopers to help. And with the antics of Jake Garcia and Gruv One Entertainment, you cannot go wrong in having this man be your Dee Jay. Thank you Stacey for another wonderful ghoulish rocking party.
