It sounds like Demon Dean is going to be out in full force in the second episode of “Supernatural” season 10, if the synopsis for “Reichenbach” the CW released on Wednesday, Sept. 24, is anything to go by. Plus, Sam’s going to end up in trouble – and it goes back to something involving Dean.
Based on what we know about the “Supernatural” season 10 premiere, Dean’s going to be having fun living as a demon (and singing karaoke, as the photos have shown), while Sam is going to be busy trying to figure out what happened to his brother because he was off trying to summon Crowley when Dean woke up. Meanwhile, Castiel is going to be dealing with his grace problem. The sneak peek shown at Comic-Con featured the brothers’ confrontation in the bunker from the third episode, so it seems likely that this episode could end with them meeting, but first, they both have some stuff to deal with in “Reichenbach.”
This new synopsis reveals that Metatron will be back, but can Hannah trust him to help Castiel or is she just going to end up playing into his hand? Could this be what Metatron wants – to be the one to “help” Castiel, only to then use it to his advantage? Meanwhile, Dean is going to find out that there’s another side effect of the Mark of Cain other than waking up with demon black eyes. That’s not the end of it, as the Mark “needs to be fed,” which can’t be anything good. And as for Sam, well, the photos from the premiere showing him with Cole seem to be a pretty good indication of what we could see in the second episode because Cole blames Dean for his death and it sounds like he’s willing to do anything to find him.
Here’s the CW’s official description of episode 10×02, ” Reichenbach,” written by Andrew Dabb and directed by Thomas J. Wright: “CROWLEY TELLS DEAN THE MARK NEEDS TO BE FED — Crowley (Mark Sheppard) notices Dean (Jensen Ackles) is becoming more and more aggressive. Dean tells him that’s the side effect of being a demon, but Crowley knows it’s something more – the Mark of Cain needs to be fed. Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki) is captured by Cole (guest star Travis Aaron Wade), an angry man who blames Dean for his father’s death years ago and wants revenge. Cole tortures Sam, hoping he’ll tell him where Dean is hiding. Hannah (guest star Erica Carroll) sees how weak Castiel (Misha Collins) is becoming as his grace continues to fade, so she makes a bold choice and asks Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong) for help.”
“Supernatural” season 10 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on the CW. What are you hoping to see in this episode?
