Supreme Pro Wrestling held their monthly show Sunday at the SPW Arena located on the grounds of St. Peter’s Church in Sacramento. All three titles were being defended on the card. SPW Heavyweight Champion J.D. Bishop defended his title, Jeckles the Jester’s Extreme title was on the line as well as the SPW Tag Team Titles currently held by Salt n Pimpin’. The crowd that showed up was anxious to see all of the night’s in ring action and they weren’t going home unsatisfied. It was an exciting night for al those who attended,
The show started off with J.D. Bishop cutting a promo about how he’s tired of wrestling Dexter St. Jock and issued an open challenge. Dexter St. Scoot came out to answer the call and was pinned by Bishop in a few minutes. After the match Bishop issued another open challenge, this time it was answered by Cjay Kurz who was more than willing to wrestle for the belt. Bishop immediately withdrew the challenge until the SPW Commissioner made Kurz’s match against Marcus Lewis a number one contender’s match for the SPW title.
The second match on the card was a “Four Corners Match” for the number one contender’s spot for the Extreme title. The participants were Adrian Idol, Bobby Hart, T’ Lo the Insano and Christian Saenz. Bobby Hart won the match by pin fall to became the new Extreme title contender. Flyin’ Ryan wrestled El Chupacabra in the third bout and Ryan won the contest by pin fall. After the match, Sal Tomaseli came to ringside and had a few private words with the youngster.
Cjay Kurz and Marcus Lewis fought each other for the number one contender’s spot for the SPW Heavyweight Title. Despite a gallant effort from Lewis, Cjay used his veteran wits to defeat the young upstart by pin fall and earn the chance to face J.D. Bishop for the title. The fifth match of the night was a four team tag team title match for the SPW Tag Team Championship. Salt n’ Pimpin’ took on the challenge from the Honor Society, The Beautiful People and Joe DeSoul & Mustafa Saed and retained their titles with a pin fall victory from Virgil Flynn.
Hip Hop Harry came out to cut a promo thanking the fans for their support before he was interrupted by the Under-Scooter. Under-Scooter challenged Harry and lasted a few minutes in the ring with him before losing by pin fall. After losing the match, the Under-Scooter was dragged out of the ring by the referees and security. The main event of the night was the Extreme title match between Jeckles the Jester and Hayashi.
The bout was held under “falls count anywhere” rules and the two grapplers fought all over the arena. Hayashi fought a brave fight but lost after one high flying maneuver too many and was pinned by the champion. After the match, Jeckles attacked a fan, dragged him into the ring and dumped garbage on him. Supreme Pro Wrestling will be holding free show at the Sacramento Toy Expo on September 28th.
