SUSTAINATOPIA 2014, the world’s largest series of conferences for social, financial, and environmental sustainability takes place this week in Century City at the Hyatt Regency. From October 29 through November 2nd, SUSTAINATOPIA 2014 will hold five global business-to-business conferences followed by a special weekend program dedicated to social action in Los Angeles. SUSTAINATOPIA 2014 will also feature the Lifestyles of Health & Sustainability (LOHAS) Conference, which returns to Los Angeles after a five-year absence.
Sustainatopia 2014 represents the ecosystem of impact investing from investors, funds, foundations, social entrepreneurs, NGOS, government, academics and students to companies with public-private partnerships.
Headlining the Los Angeles conference as keynote speakers are actress and activist Kyra Sedgwick and well-known ocean activist Philippe Cousteau of Earth Echo International.
During the last five years, over 1,000 speakers have participated in SUSTAINATOPIA including the White House, Donna Karan, the Inter-American Development Bank & Matthew Bishop, Chief Business Editor of the Economist.
