So load up the mini van or SUV, pack a picnic lunch, and head outdoors to celebrate the changing colors and crisper weather in North Georgia.
Berry Patch Farms
Located on Arnold Mill Road in Woodstock, Berry Patch Farms celebrates the fall season with a hayride out to its pumpkin patch, plus goodies like homemade fried pie, apple cider, pumpkin pie, jams, jellies, and boiled peanuts. Bradley’s Pumpkin Patch
Find the perfect homegrown pumpkin at Bradley’s. While there, be sure to visit the Old Country Store for a delectable assortment of homemade jams, salsas, local honey and more. Buck’s Corn Maze
A day trip to Buck’s is a must! The 12-acre maze is planted on a 20-acre field next to Cochran Creek. Your family will love the beautiful mountain views and gorgeous changing colors. Buford Corn Maze
Favorite fall activities for the family include a pumpkin patch, hayride, a corn maze, and the Haunted Forest. In 2014, guests can scan QR codes in the maze for navigation directions. Located in awesome Dawsonville, Burt’s Farm is the perfect fall family destination. Features include a huge pumpkin patch, hayrides through fields of flowers with great mountain views, and a country store. Cagle’s Family Farm
Pass the day away bumping along on a hayride, getting up close and personal with farm animals, and enjoying a picnic under a canopy of trees. Plus, there’s a pumpkin patch ready for the picking. Other family-friendly activities include a corn maze, jumping pillows, a goat walk, pig races and more. Ticket prices are $10 for the maze, $7 for a bonfire hayride, $12 for the Haunted Barn, and $7 for a farm tour. Save big with a day pass ($20). Visit Georgia’s most popular apple orchard and farm market this fall. Located in beautiful Ellijay, Hillcrest Orchards lets you pick your own apples, milk a cow, watch live pig races, visit the petting farm, and take a wagon ride through the expansive orchard. Hillside Orchard Farms
Fall activities include a tractor corn maze, gem mine, playground and a barn. Nestled in Northeast Georgia, this 100-acre, family owned and operated farm is a perfect day trip for the entire family. The corn maze at Jaemor Farms in Alto is surrounded by the picturesque North Georgia Mountains. Activities include the 8-acre maze, a pumpkin train, apple cannons, hayrides, duck races, farm slide, and a brand new petting zoo. The maze is $9 for kids 3-12 and seniors, and $10 for adults. The pumpkins are ripe and ready to be picked at Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge in the North Georgia Mountains.. The best news is that all pumpkins are just $6 – regardless of size! Don’t forget to pick your own apples, too. They’re priced at $10 a peck. A tractor tour is mandatory to get into the orchard. Participants are not allowed to walk or drive. North Georgia Corn Maze
Located just four miles south of Helen, the North Georgia Corn Maze stretches across seven acres of beautiful pasture.
