The Sacred Tradition of Marriage is an act not properly undergone in today’s existence of predominantly sin and indiscretion. This current epoch is a corrupt generation that condones cohabitation, premarital ‘relations’, and courtships that lasts for decades, without any thought to marriage.
“Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’ So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?’ Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith (Hebrews 13:4-7).”
The misconception that marriage still exists is only a delusion and distorted view of reality. There may be few who marry, but even they most likely have cohabitated before marriage, partaking in a sinful “honeymoon’ prior to their sacred union. Where is there room for sanctity in marriage if the sanctity is polluted before the marriage takes place?
“‘Haven’t you read’, he replied, ‘that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’ ? ‘So they are no longer two, but one’. ‘Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate’ (Matthew 19:4-6).”
For those who claim to be Christians, but also twist the scriptures to suit their own sins are liars. There is no room in an arrogant heart for our Lord if there is only sin and deception of one’s mind. Anyone can claim faith to believing in God, but it is from actions that support this belief. How can one claim to be a humble follower of Christ, if one prefers to boast about all that they do? Is this person not a hypocrite? Should we not all strive to be Christ-like? If that not the way Christians must live their lives?
“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).”
Beloved, remember that Christians have a duty to our Lord to do right by Him and for Him. We must pray and repent often, and ensure we do our best to love one another. We should do all we can to correct the errors of our ways the moment we acknowledge them. Do not wait and hold it off. Awaken your heart and do, as you must to please God. The times are near beloved, in which great change will commence. Do not waste time sulking in your sin. Arise and make amends.
