Every year the area attractions in Orlando offer spooky activities for both visitors and residents. Events include those for all ages, some spookier than others and some perfect for the entire family to enjoy together. Go trick or treating with Mickey Mouse, get scared by Michael Myers or dance with Bert and Ernie.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Families will be able to enjoy the fun filled adventure during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom Park as they trick or treat with all of the characters. Kids will scream as the headless horseman makes his way down Mainstreet USA as he leads the parade filled with Disney characters in their favorite Halloween costumes.
There are many activities and games for the kids to enjoy, as well as trick or treating at all of the rides, attractions, restaurants and shops throughout the park. There is a special fireworks explosion just for the season called Hallowishes and is a Halloween themed Wishes show.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party is held on select nights starting late September through Halloween. Tickets are separate from normal daytime theme park admission and are limited.

Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights
For those looking to be scared stiff, Universal Studios Orlando has the perfect event. Halloween Horror Nights gives guests a scare of a lifetime, ensuring the adrenaline is pumping fast. Creatures and monsters will pop out of the darkness scaring passers-by or they may even chase someone down the street, around a corner and into an alley with even more monsters.
With a new horror theme annually, the event is never the same from year to year. Guests are treated to many haunted houses, entertainment, live music, parades, games and many surprises. Select rides are open during the event.
Halloween Horror Nights begins late September and runs through Halloween and is held on select nights. Normal daytime tickets do not include the event, which is an additional charge. Halloween Horror Nights is not recommended for children under the age of 13.

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular
Take the kids to visit Shamu and then stay for the evening celebration, SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular. This event is themed toward the younger kids, primarily preschool aged and is held on select nights in October every year.
There is so many activities to enjoy while at SeaWorld for the Spooktacular, including 15 tick-or-treat stations, spooky and silly shows and an interactive ice DJ. The characters from Sesame Street will put on their performance of Halloween Countdown Live Musical Stage Show.
Some of the attractions and rides will remain open during the event, including the face painting and caricature stations. SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular is included with general admission to the park.

Zoo Boo Bash at Central Florida Zoo
Held annually the last two weekends in October. Kids can go trick or treating at animal stations, listen to scary animal themed stories and enjoy meet and greets with some of the scarier animals, such as snakes and spiders

Tick-or-Treating at the Florida Mall
Spend the day shopping for the perfect Halloween costume and then enjoy an evening of activities and trick-or-treating from store to store. Each store offers up some of their favorite candy and spooky treats at the Florida Mall every Halloween.
In addition to trick-or-treating kids can take part in costume contests, coloring and craft activities.
