Does it make you wonder, if the owner of these three defenseless and sweet Chihuahuas who were dumped by their owner to the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter, sent a text to one of her friends telling them she just casually dropped off three dogs at a high kill shelter on Saturday? Did she just sign their death warrants before or after she left for the mall?
When the volunteers asked the owner why she was surrendering the dogs, the owner didn’t seem to have much of a reason. She did mention, however that the family was keeping the mother of the three dogs.
Let me introduce you to these three adorable little ones. Meet A469882, Thalia. She is an unaltered long-haired Chihuahua mix. Click here for her PetHarbor listing.
Click here for Thalia’s Facebook thread. Confused and scared, Thalia doesn’t have a clue why she is in this very scary and loud place separated from her bonded little companions.
Next let me introduce you to Tatiana, A469884. She is also an unaltered long haired Chihuahua mix. Click here for her PetHarbor listing.
Click here for Tatiana’s Facebook thread. She also seems devastated; having left the only home she has ever known to a place where nothing is familiar. The sadness in her eyes of being left alone is heartbreaking.
And here is the third sister. Meet Shakira, A469883. Of course, Shakira has never been spayed; just what this irresponsible owner needs – more puppies. Click here for Shakira’s PetHarbor listing.
Follow Shakira’s Facebook thread by clicking here as volunteers hope to find a foster, adopter, or rescue organization able to help this little one and her companions.
According to the owner, the three dogs are friendly although one is very shy and seems to be extremely sad and frightened. The dogs all reportedly like children, but have never interacted with cats.
Please share the story of these tiny, desperate Chihuahuas with your friends, family and coworkers. Sharing saves lives. It only takes a few moments to forward this article onto a Facebook friend or someone at work. The message only needs to find that one special person or organization who can help this dog.
