Seven hours ago, Tony Calvento, avid supporter of truth and justice, revealed that Deniece Millinette Cornejo, one of the eight accused in the mauling of actor-TV host Vhong Navarro last Jan. 22, had written a letter addressed to the Philippine President Benigno “Noy Noy” Aquino III. Deniece’s letter to the president is the subject of conversation of the netizens on the micro-blogging site Twitter this evening, June 9, 2014.
The letter was also posted on ABS-CBN News several hours ago and it continues to invite readers and haters as well. Based on her narration, she wrote a letter to PNoy to clarify some important things regarding her 23rd birthday celebration at the CIDG/ATCU.
She said she is still innocent despite the fact that she has been charged of serious illegal detention. Deniece added that she did not asked for any special treatment or privilege, according to her, all that she wanted was to hold a worship and thanksgiving during that day.
As you all know, Deniece celebrated her 23rd birthday last June 1 at the CIDG/ATCU with her family and friends. Reports said Roxanne Cabanero, who also filed a rape complaint against actor-TV host Vhong Navarro was reportedly attended the celebration.
Based on her statement right after the celebration, it was her first time to meet Roxanne. Before they met in jail, some observers claimed that Deniece and Roxanne were friends already, but according to them, the two were forced to hide the truth because of their separate rape cases filed against the actor.
Incidentally, Deniece’s rape complaint has already been dismissed by the three-man panel of the Department of Justice due to lack of evidence. Meanwhile, the DOJ is still weighing Roxanne Cabanero’s rape complaint, but based on the report, it will be resolved in the near future. So, if you are a fan of Vhong or just an observer, continue to be vigilant and pray.
