Nowadays, even more medical and mental health professionals are referring their patients/clients/selves to natural and alternative care and “remedies” as they prefer to call it because we dare not claim to “Heal”, “Cure” or Treat”. I wonder if the FDA will change or modify laws/policies in the future in regards to claims of holistic natural nutritionists/professionals? Hmmmm!
Funny thing is, we know that there are natural fruits, vegetables and herbs that heal/soothe naturally. I remember folks being amazed at how my daughter’s (when she was much younger) ringworm on her face (on the temple) went away in literally 3 days after I daily applied fresh garlic to it. It was as if she never had any ringworm or mark on her face. I was amazed myself and gave the glory to God because I didn’t/couldn’t create garlic or any other herb/veg/fruit/seed, lol. And although, I may not make announcements about natural healing remedies to medical community, I would if they asked me and I share my practices, and give my own testimonials.
Oh, and I didn’t even mention how my daughter doesn’t suffer with eczema as she used to when she was a little girl as a result of using pure virgin olive oil, aloe vera, organic coconut oil, Shea butter, oatmeal lotion/wash and peppermint Castle Soap. She never got the dark marks but she itched easily and couldn’t stand to wear stockings, and she would have holes in her pantyhose/stockings by the time she made it home from school from scratching. Poor boo-boo, I feel like giving her a hug now (even if she’s 20 now). As a toddler, she would pull out all of her barrettes along with her hair in them, and when I realized she had eczema, I stopped putting in barrettes for a while and when I did, I wouldn’t leave them in long and would use other hair adornments/decor.
Natural beauty does not have to deplete your bank account/credit cards. As we can see, the traditional beauty and medical industry are becoming a part of the natural beauty and hair care movement. Even if cosmetic companies are only capitalizing on it by labeling and adding some natural ingredients to woo our attention to their products. I mean after all, they don’t want to lose money! But, I do prefer 85% to 100% natural and organic products.
