Health isn’t just about what we eat, or how we exercise. It’s about how we feel. And nothing makes us feel better than contributing to others.
By now most of us have heard of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and the amazing impact it has had on raising awareness and funding for research on the disease.
There are some strong views on both sides of the fence. Some believe that raising money for any charity is great, others, have pointed out that ALS is a relatively minor problem in comparison to other diseases and afflictions. (some, even pointed out a “death by water shortage” comparison, pointing out the waste of water used in the challenge itself)
Regardless of where we all stand on the bucket challenge, I think it may be time for a new one.
I present to you: The Turkey Bucket Challenge.
Imagine, if you will, the poignant and touching videos we could create. If you’re a Youtube entrepreneur, imagine the CPM. Whatever the motivation, it could be really cool.
Now, not all of us can afford to give an entire turkey dinner. And, some of us are morally against killing turkeys at all. But the point remains that a bucket of food given to someone who needs it the most would be an amazing trend to start.
What’s in your bucket?
