The organization, World Childhood Foundation, made a appearance this Labor Day Weekend via Made In America Festival in Philly to spread awareness about their mission. Did you know that a report of child abuse is made every ten seconds? And that child abuse occurs at every socioeconomic level, across ethnic and cultural lines, within all religions and at all levels of education?
Already in 17 countries, World Childhood Foundation (Childhood), along with Global Citizen share one mission which is to ensure that all children get the chance to live a full life with a safe and happy childhood. By engaging a young audience (for example at MIA Fest) and popular music talent, Childhood ultimate aim is to bring awareness to children at risk all around the world.
You can join in the mission to create a world where no child is exposed to a violent or damaging environment, but instead has the opportunity to grow up with memories of a safe and loving childhood. The popular DJ/record producer, Tiesto, is a brand ambassador and supporter of the organization and is encouraging one lucky person the opportunity to make a impact, as well, win a trip to New York to hang out with him via Global Citizen festival featuring himself and others including Jay Z, No Doubt, Carrie Underwood and The Roots.
Want in? You can enter to win by making a small donation starting at just $5 per entry, to Childhood and Global Citizen. The funds raised will be geared towards projects for children around the world. Keep in mind – the bigger you donate, the bigger the impact!
If you are attending Made In America Festival (Philly) today (8/31/2014), find the World Childhood Foundation tent or you can enter now.
