According to a June 30 report from Fansided, fallout from WWE Money in the Bank continues on tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. The WWE is holding a live show less than a day after the completion of WWE Money in the Bank, so several key storylines are expected to be tied together this evening. The show, which airs live at 8 p.m. on the USA Network, will be filmed at the XL Center in Hartford.
Wade Barrett, Cesaro, Rob Van Dam, Sheamus and Big E have been confirmed for the episode, as have the WWE Divas roster. No word yet on which divas will appear, but it’s likely that Paige, Naomi and Cameron will be on the show. Also on the bill for tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, John Cena, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose take on Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins in a six-man tag team bout. However, that match won’t be televised.
What will WWE Universe find out tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw? Seth Rollins winning the briefcase last night at WWE Money in the Bank is sure to catch the attention of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, and they will address the matter tonight. Rollins’ victory means he has one full year to cash in the briefcase for a world title shot. Rollins could cash in the briefcase as soon as tonight, although that is a bit unlikely.
Also, The Authority can’t be too pleased that John Cena became the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, by taking the belts off the hook last night at WWE Money in the Bank. Fallout from Cena’s win is expected tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw. The WWE has already teased a Cena vs. Brock Lesnar match for next month at SummerSlam, so the 12-time title winner will likely hold onto the strap until that event.
Elsewhere on the card, the Funkadactyls are expected to feud and possibly break up. Paige defended her WWE Divas championship against Naomi last night, and Cameron didn’t do much to help out even though she was standing ringside. Tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw, The Usos and The Wyatt Family are expected to rematch, and The Brotherhood may once against battle Rybaxel.
Additionally, it’ll be interesting to see if Orton will be able to compete, just one day after having his head busted open in the WWE Money in the Bank ladder match. He’s slated to appear in the six-man tag team dark match, but that could change due to the damage he took last night. Bad News Barrett is also legitimately injured, but still expected to appear tonight.
