Libertarian Gubernatorial Candidate Adrian Wyllie Campaign announced Wednesday, Sept. 24, that he will begin running political advertisements in the coming days around Tampa Bay. Due to the grassroots nature of his campaign, companies and corporations supporting Wyllie are providing in-kind political contributions for airtime on television stations. This provides the 44 year-old Libertarian Candidate from Palm Harbor, Fla. an opportunity to introduce himself to those in Florida unaware of his candidacy for governor of Florida.
The Wyllie Campaign also released a chart this morning (see the article photograph) comparing and contrasting the stances and positions from Adrian Wyllie (Libertarian), Incumbent Governor Rick Scott (Republican), and former Republican Governor Charlie Crist (now a Democrat) on the issues and matters of importance that affect Floridians the most.
What Wyllie will discuss in his TV ads
In the ad, Wyllie will express his disgust regarding the millions of dollars of money used by the establishment candidates to simply make his more-well known opponent look worse, the fact the attacks on each other are mostly the truth, and remind viewers how little time is actually spend in the slot talking about what the candidate plans to do if he is elected.
Wyllie then discusses his plans protect civil liberties and personal freedoms here in Florida. The and wraps up with an ending all Floridians need to hear. “Don’t let them scare you into voting for more of the same. This time, take a stand.”
Where and where the ads will air
As mentioned earlier in the article, pro-Wyllie businesses are providing in-kind donations for television advertisements for their market. The first Florida market to air the ads will be here in Tampa Bay, because, as Campaign Manager Danielle Alexandre said, “This is our home.” A local dry cleaning business provided contributions to air the political ads in Tampa-St.-Petersburg-Clearwater metropolitan area.
The Wyllie for Governor Campaign will use this strategy throughout the major markets of Florida to get the word about the only gubernatorial candidate with an approval rating higher than his disapproval rating.
